Success Stories
There were no more options for Trista. She merely existed in life, dealing with addictions and domestic violence. She lost custody of her children and reached the bottom of the barrel when she made contact with The Lazarus project.
Trista’s program was designed to meet her short and long-term goals. Every week her case manager focused her on different aspects needed for healing and growth. Attending a 12-step program, group sessions to address domestic violence, and court hearings to regain custody of her children were difficult for Trista. However, the love, support, safety and encouragement offered at The Lazarus Project kept her moving forward.
Fast forward one year, after Trista graduated from The Lazarus Project. The biggest change in her life is her feeling of confidence as a woman who loves and values herself. Employed, she has moved into a beautiful two bedroom apartment. She has regained custody of her two children who are both Honor Roll students and actively involved in sports and church youth groups. Just a few years ago, Trista was about to give up. Now she has her life together spiritually, emotionally and financially. Today she stands proud for what she has accomplished through The Lazarus Project and gives back to her community by helping others change their lives.
