The Lazarus Project’s 11th Annual
ST. PATRICK’S DINNER CELEBRATION
Saturday, March 5th, 2011 ~ 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.St. Rose Parish Hall ~ 615 Vine Avenue, Roseville, CA
Dear Potential Sponsor,
The Lazarus Project invites you to become a sponsor for our 11th Annual St. Patrick’s Dinner Celebration to benefit families, veterans, and individuals who are homeless. Our event draws 400 people throughout the area who come to enjoy a traditional Irish dinner of corned beef, cabbage, carrots, potatoes, wine and dessert; all served at your table. Entertainment from The Black Irish Band and O’Sullivan Irish Repertory Company is a highlight of the evening.
Our mission is: To meet the needs of the impoverished in Placer County by providing housing and comprehensive support services.
In today’s difficult economic times, many of our friends and neighbors within the community are finding themselves without work, without a home, and without hope. Because of your generous support The Lazarus Project is here to equip those in need with the tools to remake their lives and to help them return to the community to live independently.
Since 1998, our success is seen in our ability to transition residents to permanent housing - on average 85% of our program participant’s moved into permanent housing. Some have become homeowners with many more working toward that goal. Last year, 44% of our participants gained employment and 90% of last year’s graduates remain in permanent housing.
The St. Patrick’s Dinner Celebration provides our organization with the funding needed to provide critical services to our community and keep hope alive for so many. Your sponsorship will not only provide your company with low-cost marketing exposure; it will send a message to all 400 people that you are a company that supports an organization that they hold near and dear to their heart.
I hope you will consider becoming a sponsor.
In gratitude,
David Loya
Executive Director
